Biot | Biot

Aujourd'hui j'ai pris le train vers Biot. Biot est située près d'Antibes, plus précisement entre Cannes et Nice.

I left with enough time (if everything worked out according to the posted schedules) to make the morning guided tour at the Vererrie de Biot.  How silly of me to think that schedules are actually followed...I should have know better after the train to Grasse had been cancelled...

Long story short...I did a LOT of walking in Biot...and I didn't make it for the guided tour in the morning - the next one would have been later in the afternoon (4 pm), but I didn't want to wait around for hours, so I did the self guided tour, which was interesting in itself.

J'ai aussi eu l'opportunité (à cause de marcher au lieu de prendre l'autobus) de visiter la Poterie Provençale. Selon les dépliants, il y a une navette gratuite qui fait le tour de Biot et qui est supposée de venir toutes les dix minutes - j'ai trouvé plusieurs stops mais je n'ai pas encore vu de navette.  :-(

Again, today was another scorcher and with all the walking I did in Biot, I was quickly tiring, so after waiting at a navette stop with no shade for half an hour, I decided to see if I could hitch a ride with someone to the train station. La quatrième voiture a arreté - un boulangère m'a conduit à la gare. Nous avons eu une petite conversation - il m'a dit qu'il a voyagé vers Miami mais il aimerait visiter Québec pour son prochain voyage outre-mers.
